Job Summary
The Business Analyst will be an integral part of the Customer Success and Implementation team dedicated to understanding clients' strategy for digital investment products and how the Jemstep Advisor Pro Service should be configured to meet their objectives. The position will play an integral role in the product onboarding and development cycle for clients positioning them for successful growth in assets under management while maintaining a superior customer experience. The position entails research and documentation work pertaining to clients' product development business requirements, translating the requirements into development documentation tasks, and testing and validating development success in meeting the requirements.
This position will also be required to consult with senior analysts, product managers, developers, and implementation consultants in the organization for guidance where applicable.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Evaluate clients' business processes for digital investment product solutions.
Identify business requirements and then translate and document into development requirements.
Conduct meetings and presentations.
Lead reviews of requirements and designs with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and sign off.
Manage information obtained in meetings and rapidly produce documentation as required to maintain project schedule and activities.
Use background knowledge and experience to conduct complex data analysis.
Attend internal and client meetings and document and communicate the results of research, analysis and meeting outcomes.
Support management by preparing client presentation materials and supporting or leading meetings.
Develop and perform user acceptance testing.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years' financial services experience as a business analyst
Ideally, will have worked on multi-discipline technology integration projects and/or phases of projects with teams of up to 8 people and of a minimum length of 9 months
Experience in writing business requirements for a SaaS company.
Sound knowledge of financial technology ecosystem in the Bank/IBD environment is a plus
Ideally, will have had experience of negotiating with external parties / strategic partners
Proficient user of the Microsoft suite of products, including Project and Office and other project management tools such as Wrike
Skills

Education (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
A Bachelor's Degree, Graduate, or equivalent qualification is preferred, Master's Degree a plus
Formal project management training (i.e. PMI PMP certificate) a plus
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
