Director of Information Technology
Mix Talent has partnered with Alto Neuroscience a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with a mission to redefine neuropsychiatric care by leveraging neurobiology to develop personalized and highly effective treatment options. We are seeking a Director of Information Technology. This individual will play a crucial role in the organization, reporting directly to the CFO. The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for developing and implementing the Companys strategic direction for information technology (IT) operations, ensuring that the department provides efficient and effective technology services across the entire organization. Responsibilities include creating and managing an IT roadmap and aligning it with business goals. Leading the development and implementation of IT systems, establishing priorities for systems design, and authoring IT policies. Developing IT strategy and protocols for business continuity and overseeing the security of systems and enterprise information. Analyzing IT infrastructure and system performance, managing relationships with external IT vendors, and facilitating vendor business reviews. Partnering with finance to ensure conformance to the IT operating expense budget and conducting periodic reviews of software/hardware maintenance contract renewals. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in technology or related field At least five years of experience managing an IT department including expertise in the biotech industry Working knowledge of HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, GxP compliance Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 and FDA guidance documents on principles of software validation and maintenance, supporting both on-premises and externally-hosted scenarios Demonstrated experience in providing validation support of GxP systems used to support clinical studies (e.g. eTMF, Safety Databases, Data Warehouses, etc.) preferred Technical experience with Quality Assurance Based on the primary location, the expected salary range for this position is $180,000-$210,000 USD annually. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for the benefits.
